Henrico wraps around the north, west and east sides of Richmond. Our office is in Glen Allen, so this is home turf. It's busy West End shopping corridors in one part of the county and farmland and river frontage in the east.
Henrico has no incorporated towns, so people use area names instead. A few of the main ones:
Henrico runs a large parks system, and the eastern end of the county holds a lot of Civil War history.
I-64, I-95 and I-295 all run through Henrico, along with Broad Street (US 250), Parham Road and the Powhite Parkway nearby. Richmond International Airport is in the county, in Sandston. From Short Pump, downtown Richmond is roughly 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour.
Henrico has 1950s and 1960s brick ranches and Cape Cods, newer West End subdivisions, townhomes and condos, and acreage in the east. HOA rules, lot size and the age of the major systems vary a lot from one neighborhood to the next. We'll help you compare them side by side.
We work out of Glen Allen and know the county well. If you're buying, we'll set up a search around what matters to you. If you're selling, we'll pull recent sales near you and give you a straight read on price and timing.
